Cleaning floor is a major task in our cleaning process. We have tried several ways of cleaning:
- Washing floors by hand – Difficult, slow process and rinsing out the cloth is tedious
- Washing floors with a Swiffer – Very costly because you need a cloth for each room or your just spreading dirt around
- Washing floors with a Cloth on a pole – Most companies don’t change out the cloths so your just spreading the dirt around
- If you do change the cloths out, you would use 10-30 per house and too many to economically wash
- We have not tried a steamer – This is not recommended for hardwood floors and has a high probability to damage them
- Spin Mop – We get a clean mop head on each room. We use two different heads, one for hardwoods and the other for tile
- By far the best process. Floors are not really getting cleaned unless you use a spin mop
